Plain English summary: OpStack is a read-only analysis tool. We analyse your Terraform plans and query your cloud infrastructure to identify risks. We never make changes to your cloud resources. You are responsible for your own infrastructure decisions.
By accessing or using OpStack ("the Service") at www.opstack.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Poomagan Asokan, the operator of OpStack ("we", "us", "our"), based in India.
OpStack is a cloud infrastructure analysis platform that:
OpStack is a read-only analysis service. OpStack never creates, modifies, or deletes any resources in your cloud accounts.
You must create an account to use OpStack. You agree to:

You are solely responsible for the cloud credentials you provide to OpStack. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary authorisation to grant OpStack read-only access to the cloud accounts you connect.
Terraform plan files you upload are processed entirely in memory. They are never stored on our servers. You retain full ownership of your plan files and analysis results.
OpStack uses AWS IAM AssumeRole and Azure Service Principal credentials with read-only permissions. We do not request write permissions and do not perform any write operations. You should configure credentials with the minimum necessary permissions as described in our cloud connection guide.
OpStack, including its software, risk rules, documentation, and branding, is proprietary to us. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of OpStack's intellectual property.
You retain ownership of your Terraform plans, cloud environment configurations, and analysis results. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
The Free plan is provided at no cost subject to usage limits (currently 3 projects, 5 environments, 25 analyses per month). We reserve the right to modify Free plan limits with 30 days' notice.
Paid plans (Pro, Team, Enterprise) are subject to separate pricing and terms communicated at the time of purchase. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
We offer a 7-day refund on first-time paid plan purchases if the Service did not work as described. Contact support@opstack.in within 7 days of purchase.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of availability.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance via email or the service dashboard.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
OpStack analysis results are advisory only. Risk findings and blast radius assessments are based on static analysis of your Terraform plan and live infrastructure state at the time of analysis. They do not constitute a guarantee that a deployment will or will not cause issues. You are solely responsible for your infrastructure decisions.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR INFRASTRUCTURE OUTAGES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or INR 1,000 (whichever is greater).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OpStack and its operators from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we determine in our sole discretion that your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or our infrastructure. We will endeavour to provide notice before termination except in cases of serious violations.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that adversely affect users on paid plans.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at legal@opstack.in and attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and OpStack regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
